Understanding Fire Resistance in the Workplace

The workplace needs to be well protected from fire hazards. When an organization works together in the same place that is meant to be safe in all aspects. That's why building needs to be secure from all fire risks.

Small premises -
In the case of small premises, it ok to have normal entrances and exits. But that should be risk-free that everyone can make their escape without being cut off by the smoke and fire.

Premises for large story building-
But if the building is multistory, rules say that everyone should be able to turn their back regardless of the burning site. So if the building has a multistory, all exits and entrances should be sophisticated. At least one exit should be all-clear from the smoke, and flames at the same time if there are two exits.

Disabled persons - 
If in case you have disabled persons with you at the time of fire accident, then its time to plan an evacuation activity by taking consideration of their restricted mobility. 

Alternate routes -
In case of an emergency the direct routes maybe not enough for the escape of all occupants, so during the normal circulation, it’s important to make the employees aware of the alternate routes so that large public safe escape can happen. After this, all settle down, make a checklist of all emergency escape routes and fire retardant products.
